Streaming hot water mechanism for delicate products
Conveyor streaming hot water blanching machine is the machine eliminating the chance of a material damage while its moving inside of the blanching machine. As a few fragile materials can be sensitive to higher temperature, direct steam injection or immersing in hot water are not suitable. Therefore, CB blanching equipment – a mechanism of streaming hot water into the material, is an ideal solution.
After the blanching section, a cooling module follows, where ice water is poured onto the product, cooling it up to 5°C. The solution consists of 5 following sections: infeed section, blanching section (hot water), intermediate section, cooling section (cold water), unloading section.
Principle of blanching
Blanching (boiling products in hot water or steam very shortly) is very important for nearly all frozen vegetable. Blanching cleans the external impurity or organisms, lightens the color, helping retaining the vitamins. It makes vegetables softer and easier to package. The time of blanching is extremely important and changes depending on the vegetable or size.
