Blanching line for vegetables - NORMIT is intended for heat treatment of vegetables, fruits, seafood and legumes in a continual cycle.

Blanching or boiling of vegetables happens in drum blanching machine (products with gentle structure, which dont need mixing while cooking, like sea food with no shell).
Feed Conveyor guarantees uniform feeding of the material into the blanching machine, lifting the product from the hopper to the desired height. Depends on the type of the material, it is processed with steam or water at the chosen temperature for the required period of time. Furthermore, the product is stirred consistently, going to the exit of the drum.
The total emptying of loose material is ensured by rotating blades, helping the product to go into the cooling section for urgent end of cooking, to avoid the overcooking. The product is then ready for packing or freezing. Depending on the type of the product, the line can be equipped with an air cooling system for removing of the excess moisture and fine undesirable particles of the product, or cooling conveyor, behind which is located a drying conveyor.
The cooled and dry product is placed on an inspection conveyor, where the visual inspection is provided and disposal of damaged parts of the product. Inspection conveyor is equipped with a white PVC belt to ensure the greatest possible contrast to the product and clear illumination throughout its length. The length of the conveyor belt is determined by the number of operators and productivity.
