This blanching machine was designed for blanching and cooling. It is the highest quality plant which operates in a continuous mode with using lower energy consumption. The prepared product is without any damages at final phase, it saves all the valuable elements, vitamins or nutritions.
One of the advantages is its universality. The plant can be adjusted in the way to process different kind of products, like:
- sea products like mussels with no armor or shrimps,
- vegetables,
- mushrooms,
- pet food
- insect
- and others.
Vegetable blanching machine enables the process of blanching and final product cooling.
The continuously blanching plant is constructed for heat treatment of many different ingredients with softer form requiring a minimum mechanic influence while blanching.
The blanching and cooling is ensured by the conveyor belt in every part. Sections are in cascades what means that each one is lower than the one before. It enables an automated product rotating during its shifting at conveyor belt from section to section.
Each part comprises of the special direct water/steam injection system used on a product with continual filtration and water circulation. The plant is constructed from a system which can minimize costs for water/steam.
The chilling system may be realized with water, air or by their combination. The heater system is a hybrid mechanism that enables to choose the most optimum processing method for each ingredient.
The machine enables a regulation of:
- conveyors speed,
- temperature,
- time.
According to client need, it is achievable to add other sections, like pre-washing, pre-heating, extra chilling and others.
Blanching
The blanching may be executed by steam, water or by the mix of steam and air with regard to the kind of processed product and required temperature.
The blancher CB can be used as a steam sterilizer when using clean steam.
The heating system
The continuous blancher CB can be equipped of steam, electric or gas heating system.
When using steam heating process there is used high-efficient water heating system based on steam flow which enables to decrease a temperature loss into zero and ensures the maximum economic plant efficiency.
If there is only the steam with low pressure in customer factory, the conveying blancher can be equipped with additional heating section which ensures an effective plant usage during steam pressure from 1 bar.
When using electricity, the heating is ensured through thermal exchanger.
The continuous blancher NORMIT CB sections
The basic version of the continuous blancher comprises the product loading section, work section with heating and unloading section.
For the process of blanching is possible to use watering or spraying steam/water method. According to customer request, the blancher can be equipped with a section of disposable or multiple product rotation which provides steady heat-treating all the sides.
The blancher can be equipped additionally with spraying steam/warm water system from the bottom part of the conveyor belt.
The continuous blanchers CB are equipped by integrated or extended cooling section. The cooling process can be performed by immersing into ice water respectively by ice water pouring or cold air spraying. For removing redundant water and soft product elements, it is possible to install a section “air knife”.
The continuous blanchers are constructed from stainless steel material.
